The Electronic Makerspace at CTTC was established in 2015 to help local entrepreneurs, CTTC provides you with the resources and support you need to start, grow and maintain your business.

-Businesses looking to develop prototypes of electronic circuit boards.
-Businesses looking to do customized electronic circuit boards.
-Businesses looking to manufacture small runs of electronic circuit boards.
-Anyone looking to start an electronics business using electronic circuit boards.
-Businesses who are not start-ups may utilize the makerspace upon CTT approval.

-A Stencil Printer
-A Pick-and-Place Machine
-A Reflow Oven
-A Soldering Station
-An Inspection Station including a Specialized Microscope
Process Steps
Complete and submit an initial Electronic Makerspace application at www.4cttc.org or you may request an application by calling us at 570-282-1255.
Once the application is reviewed, a meeting will be set up to discuss the business and product(s), as well as (where needed) begin developing a business plan with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) by attending a First Step seminar or an individual meeting.
Once the application is preliminarily approved, we will schedule training on the equipment at the manufacturer’s facility near Philadelphia (free) or at the CTTC (applicant must pay for this specialized training)
Clients must obtain appropriate general business liability and product liability insurance and sign a formal agreement with CTTC prior to using the Electronic Makerspace.
Clients will then meet with CTTC staff to set a schedule for makerspace usage and will be responsible for paying all applicable rental fees.
More detailed information regarding Electronic Makerspace processes and procedures is made available to clients during the individual meeting mentioned in Step 2.
